Long day at work explaining new diagnosis of IBD to patient, after hours research meeting, and coordinating multidisciplinary patient care team, only to have my @lyft cancel my ride twice without explanation or apology. Can we boycott them @DCharabaty@joshsteinbergMD
PIANO Registry @AGA_Gastro! 13 yrs,1490 pregnant women w/ IBD. Bottom line: biologic, thiopurine, combination therapy in pregnancy does not increase adverse outcomes, but disease activity does. Don't stop biologics in pregnancy! @Bob_Wachter@EricTopol

@GauravsyalMD@DCharabaty@MondayNightIBD @IBDCedarsSinai Very good case! Given the 6TG is sub therapeutic and it’s unclear if he ever trialed 5ASA, would love to discontinue thiopurine given risk of HSTCL. After stopping would start high dose 5ASA and monitor FC every 3 months @IbdClub@gutdoc18@gastrodocmattar
@LauraRaffalsMD@DCharabaty@MondayNightIBD Great case! Given prepouch inflammation, I’m more concerned with Crohn’s. Given amount of IS agree with avoiding anti-TNF and would prefer novel mechanism like anti IL12/23 rather and Vedo.
