Probably a big reason flat price hasn't punched through the $100 handle yet, love taps notwithstanding.
After getting chopped up by wild crude vol and endless TACOs, most desks just want to see hard proof of physical liftings actually getting disrupted before chasing. Safer to wait for the confirmed outage.
The UAE just keeps feasting... Makes sense though—Tehran only serves up performative hits on US bases while making damn sure they don't scratch a single piece of energy infrastructure...

The 750million barrels of crude oil the US claims they took out of Hormuz in the past months are nowhere to be found - either there is a hole in every oil tank or that’s a lie 🤷🏻♂️
@EGYOSINT Really excellent satellite work as always. Grim viewing though. Erbil one night, Bahrain the next. Says plenty about who wants this whole region unstable.
@Saeed_beeldeeq@i24NEWS_EN@Abdirahmanirro Really great segment, Saeed. Well done. Red Sea access alone makes Somaliland a far more viable partner than most of its neighbours. Recognition is long overdue.
The latest update on crossing numbers in the Strait of #Hormuz and Bab El-Mandeb based on @Kpler data. You can monitor the live vessel movements in both areas via the @MarineTraffic website: https://t.co/CAiElHmOwJ
@Energy_Tidbits@priazrocha@ruthcoverslng Years of European energy policy genius, and they head into winter with storage at its lowest since 2009. Something worth considering, right?
There are days when I wonder whether he is aware or not that the whole world is now considering him the gold standard for fake news at this point and it might be wise to reconsider his whole approach to “journalism”
@imanmali I think the man's a total goose, but selling Bosaso to the Emirates was the one sane move. They pay up front and the port actually gets built.
@Monetaryguy589 Half the banks not ready for structured data in 2026, and these are the people lecturing startups on execution. Something worth considering, right?
Fair enough on freezing the regime's money, but every time the dollar gets used as a weapon, the world gets one more reason to build around it. I reckon de-dollarisation speeds up a little each time.
The accounts are held in NY, London, Hong Kong, Dubai, etc but NOT actually in the British Virginia island banks pictured below. 👇
The British banking system post ww2 gave us secret offshore banking.
A missile launched from Khomein in central Iran on Tuesday night fell back after a launch failure, according to a video sent to Iran International.
The incident came after Iran’s armed forces said they were retaliating against US strikes on southern parts of the country.
The Fall of the US petro dollar began the moment that Cruise missile was launched at a school of little girls.
We are living thru the end times now. 20 years of hell.
So that the earth may heal
This wave of U.S. airstrikes was mainly carried out using Tomahawk missiles launched from the Gulf of Oman, this approach is highly unusual in several respects.
First, note the start time of the attacks, which is very unusual given that it's still 8 p.m. in Tehran, which could mean we should expect a long night of attack.
The second detail is that using Tomahawk missiles to destroy small drone and anti-ship missile launchers is overkill, which would not be sustainable for more than a week, given the already severely depleted U.S. stockpiles.
