As said by the authorities of the Uttar Pradesh Medical Council 15days ago, the second round of internship counseling will be conducted soon and will be finished in July.
However, no official notice has been released in the past 15 days. This delay is deeply unfair to FMGs who have already been waiting for six months to begin their internship. Further postponement may jeopardize their eligibility for NEET PG 2026. We urge the authorities to take prompt and compassionate action without any further delay @MeUPGovt@myogiadityanath@News18UP@CMOfficeUP@ANINewsUP
The behavior of the Andhra Pradesh police is utterly brutal. It's heartbreaking to see doctors sitting on the roads, peacefully demanding their rights.
Despite completing their internships, the APMC registrar is still refusing to issue permanent registration, even after the NMC has served a notice to APMC.
Now, police personnel are forcibly removing these doctor for demanding what is rightfully theirs.
Such a shameful act.
@YSRCParty@ysjagan kindly help 🙏, as current government has failed to help them despite repeated efforts.

In this country, if you demand justice, you are forcefully silenced.
FMGs from Andhra Pradesh, after completing their internships, have been denied permanent registration by the APMC Registrar for months.
And now, look at what's happening when someone peacefully raises their voice, police force has come. They've been on a hunger strike for the past 36 hours.
Let's not forget, today is Doctors' Day and this is the condition of doctor's in India.

Foreign medical graduates in Andhra Pradesh are on a hunger strike because the APMC is not issuing permanent registrations(license), rendering them unable to practice despite complying with @NMC_BHARAT guidelines by fmgs. APMC registrar is disregarding these and refusing to grant PR. Authorities like these are the real reason FMGs continue to suffer—creating their own rules without any official documentation. @NMC_BHARAT and concern authorities must take immediate action and ensure permanent registration for these FMGs. @AndhraPradeshCM@PawanKalyan@APDeputyCMO@TOI_Andhra@Xpress_edex
How can APMC behave like this, ig APMC is one of the most toxic medical councils for FMGs.
NMC being the Apex Authority in India should intervene & protect the career of FMGs who have clearly passed all criteria set by them.

In India’s crumbling medical system, injustice doesn’t knock,it marches in plain sight.
Despite strictly adhering to every guideline issued by @NMC_BHARAT, FMGs from Andhra Pradesh are being denied permanent registration by the APMC registrar.
The apex body watches silently, unmoved, as though these lives don’t matter.
Parents who gave their all to see their children wear the white coat with pride. Now, those qualified childs are sitting on the road for over 24 hours for their basic rights. @ncbn@PawanKalyan@FordaIndia@UDF_BHARAT@DrRohanKrishna3@DrDhruvchauhan@drlakshyamittal@Xpress_edex

FMGs in UP protested today outside the State Medical Council demanding timely internship allotment.
The council replied for current counseling be completed, followed by a second round in July.
The Registrar assured that all eligible FMGs will be allotted seats.

Even after protests UPMC has failed to increase internship seats for FMGs.The process was delayed unnecessarily, given fake promises, despite repeated requests to Deputy CM@brajeshpathakup

Tragic 🚨
A doctor died of electrocution in the hostel of RNT Medical College, Udaipur.
The incident occurred late at night while he was filling water from a water cooler.
Following his death, resident doctors stopped work and began protesting in the college campus.
The deceased, Dr. Ravi Sharma (35), was posted at Kherwada Community Health Centre.
He was staying with his cousin at the PG hostel for the past 2-3 days and was supposed to join Maharana Bhupal Singh Hospital in a few days.
Once the FMG students have passed the tough screening exam, the delay and uncertainity in internship affects their morale as well as jeopardises their NEETPG prep. Fixed dates and calendars for internship allotment for each exam passing candidates nationwide should be made, so that this every year problem of uncertainity is not there. Transparency in the system is the need of the hour along with swift resolution of current issues #FMGinternshipCrisis
