@cityofpalms1@dougprox@trillydonovan Yes. Courts are determining that what NCAA is proposing is not fair and equitable to 2026 grads. Literally athletes before and now after them getting xtra years. Also hard to have sympathy for recent HS grads who had 4 normal yrs of HS while 2026 lost valuable time from lockdowns
Today the @CitadelBaseball MLB Draft 10th round selection (288th overall) RHP/DH Michael Gibson signed a standard minor league contract with an undisclosed signing bonus with @Pirates.
He has been assigned to the Florida Complex League to begin his professional baseball career.
@NWTaxman@trigonis30 You are the only one who can't deal with the facts. The reality is the NCAA gave xtra yrs to athletes in college due to Covid which negatively impacted 2022 "meaningful opportunities" then gave athletes after them an xtra year. NCAA is irrelevant
@NWTaxman@trigonis30 I am not a player. I understand how the legal system works. Emotions are no part of this just facts something with which u struggle. Read the legal documents. NCAA is getting shredded in court & rightfully so.
@NWTaxman@trigonis30 In the NCAA own words they say the incoming freshman will be deprived "meaningful opportunities". They are losing badly in court rn, b/c it is glaringly apparent the only class who was deprived meaningful opportunities was the HS class of 2022 It's better late than never for them
Interesting situation in the Ohio eligibility rules case.
NCAA won’t concede the PI (which enjoined the rule of restitution) prohibits it from punishing schools/coaches that roster newly eligible players.
Plaintiffs filed an emergency motion asking the court to make this clear.
It would be absurd to permit the NCAA to punish its member institutions and coaches for complying with a valid court order.
The Court already correctly observed that the NCAA seeks to evade judicial review by punishing those who participate in the legal process. If the NCAA is now allowed to impose sanctions under the Rule of Restitution or any other bylaw against schools and coaches who simply follow this Court’s preliminary injunction and permit these Class of 2022 athletes to play, the result is perverse.
This is typical of the NCAA's playbook. Seek to chill access to the courts and deter any institution from supporting athletes who challenge the NCAA’s arbitrary and selective application of its own rules. The Court should eliminate any ambiguity by granting the requested clarification and confirming that no such punishment may be imposed while the injunction remains in effect.
Do not let people gaslight you. The wildfire smoke did not exist before a certain very recent date.
It was simply not a thing. Was talking to my parents about this just today. Do not let people normalize it.
This is the most jaw-dropping 4 minutes and 21 seconds you will watch this year.
Nicole Shanahan — ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin, former running mate of RFK Jr., and someone who personally signed nine-figure philanthropy checks — just went full whistleblower on the entire Silicon Valley “tech wife mafia” and how they were used.
Her exact words (full clip attached):
“I don’t think many of the tech mafia wives realize… they were used to set the groundwork for what Klaus Schwab calls The Great Reset.
Their money especially was being conscripted through a network of NGO advisors, Hollywood, Davos, and their own companies.
A really small group of people… completely blind to how their groundwork is being used to enable these Great Reset policies.”
Then she turns the knife inward:
“These women find their meaning through philanthropic work. I really believed I was helping Black communities and indigenous communities rise up.
But now the problems have gotten worse. Crime worse. Mental health worse. The whole model is broken.
At the end of the day they always go: ‘But climate change.’
Social justice + climate change — it gets progressive women 100% of the time.”
She even says many now believe the biggest “climate change issues” are actually geoengineering issues.
This isn’t some random podcast bro.
This is a woman who lived in the mansions, sat on the boards, flew private to Davos parties… and is now saying:
“We were the useful idiots.”

What happened under the Trump Administration today:
1. Trump says we need data centers
2. New CDC director supports mRNA injections
3. House votes to merge military with Israel
4. Pentagon says Iran war cost $100 Billion
America First! So much winning!
@jayrulz223@amelia_tweetz You must be one of the slow ones. Read my comment again. I'm not agreeing that kids should not be held back I'm saying why they aren't. It costs a lot of $ and they won't pay it. Dept. Of Ed is a failure. Government involvement ruins everything
This nails the core problem…
Deportations get harder the less American the United States becomes, because the new demographics create a built-in constituency against enforcement.
I’ve watched this dynamic for three decades on the border. The longer we wait, the smaller our window gets.
We need to move decisively now on mass self-deportation and removals.
Make it impossible to live, work, or stay here illegally while we still can.
The clock is ticking. Our kids’ future depends on it
