I’ve been overwhelmed with support requests over the holidays and I’m so excited to be working with so many schools already!
If you feel you would benefit from my services, or want to request a brochure or book a discovery call, just get in touch 🥰

So… a little life update I haven’t shared here yet!
I’m officially working independently as a curriculum, teaching & learning consultant.
It’s my mission to provide professional learning that just makes sense! Bespoke, practical, purposeful and impactful. 🌟
@KateJones_teach@C_Hendrick@EvidenceInEdu Thanks so much for this, Kate! I’ve been doing lots of work recently on noticing and creating new habits in the classroom to help teachers implement PL effectively. This is such a great article - I really like the focus on reframing as healthy habits!
“As subject experts, we can develop “expert blindness” which limits our understanding of how a novice responds to the reading and writing demands in our subjects.”

@jonnyjohnno@greg_ashman The best formative assessment processes often leave no written evidence; just a smarter decision by the teacher about what to do next...
@paul_tyack Thanks, Paul!. Your point is really great - how do they, as schools, ensure accountability (internal and external) doesn’t strip away the learner curiosity and adaptability they are trying to gain?
Are you using an enquiry based approach to teaching your ‘topics’ in your school? If so, are there any particular models or approaches that you have found successful? #cfw#enquirybasedlearning
I love F1 Sundays, especially when they’re filled with dramatic sessions like today, where Max Verstappen is out in Q2 with a 5 place grid penalty on top 🙌🏽👀 #F1
Thank you to all of the incredible schools I’ve worked with this half term 🌟 It’s been an absolutely pleasure! Have the best half term everyone - you deserve it!
Fantastic inset session delivered yesterday on the importance of sequencing learning to develop understanding. Deep conversations around planning for learning vs being activity driven i.e lots of nice things going on. Lots of lightbulb moments and puzzle pieces coming together💡
Spending my weekend diving deeper into curriculum models for #CurriculumForWales, especially in primary. Over 5 years, I’ve combined my knowledge, personal research & school experience to design professional learning. Excited to keep sharing what works in real-world settings!
Came across this video on YouTube this evening (we always watch travelling videos on YouTube). So many schools are teaching about the Welsh migration to Patagonia. Would highly recommend!
