It is the role of a visionary leader to ensure that this is done, and that the divide does not widen with certain learners. Build the bridge to close the gap! #FutureTrends

Data security is such a underrated factor that is mostly forgotten and ignored. Having internet access on a server without security is like having a window with no burglar bars... #FutureTrends

I always start my first parent meeting with the triangle that shows the school teh child and the parents, and how we must collaborate for the best of the child.

@malduff@MziPfukani There should be more schools that cater for learners with barriers, parents enroll learners into mainstream schools, for pride/ face, and not for the best of the learner. These learners end off being progressed forever.
I agree with the first statement. I somewhat agree with the, note differentiation is impossible with 35 learners in a class, not even speaking of schools where there is 40,50,60 learners in a class. No teacher will be able to support unless learner numbers are reduced.
@malduff@MziPfukani Blame game won't help children with barriers! Both schools & teachers need support:
❌ Late SIAS identification = missed opportunities.
❌ Untrained teachers struggle to provide needed support.
Invest in teacher training on WP6 & SIAS! Early intervention is key. #FutureTrends
Many authors are writing that how teachers and schools were frontline workers and champions in COVID-19. Post COVID - Teachers are again back to having half day jobs and 4 holidays... wonder when the value for teachers will remain... building on #futuretrends
Can't agree more. let humans do "humaning" (if that is a word) and let AI do meanial tasks like find facts. Research in it self is not fact finding - analysis and discussion is key! #FutureTrends
Ironically, an important aspect that stops people from being replaced by technology could be negatively affected by technology. Will future schools be more focused on teaching interpersonal skills as AI takes over the more logic-based tasks?#FutureTrends

@Setee255375 I love these comparisons. I always think that a leader can easily be a manager, but a manager is not always a leader... that is one of the big problems in our schools. Effective schools start with effective management. Ineffective schools = Ineffective management #FutureTrends
So important that we actually understand what 4IR can do for us and the children, and the roles we as teachers should be taking. https://t.co/NNuWuyoslO. #FutureTrends
Benefits of using modern technology when teaching learners becomes interested and participate as they get excited by seeing colors unlike using the old green board #FutureTrends
I do think it is time we as teachers embrace fomr Freirian Pedagogics and admit to ourselves - "I can learn from our students, and my knowledge is not the centre of the universe".
Digital leadership can help propel learning. But how does one lead the when learners are often digital natives and their teachers and school leaders are not? What happens when the “master” becomes the “student”? There is a vulnerability in “I can learn from my students too”🤔
