JUST IN: The FDA has authorized Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine for children 12 to 15 years old — an expansion that "brings us closer to returning to a sense of normalcy," the agency's acting commissioner said.

Omg the library just reopened & people lined up and were so excited and the library staff gave an ovation when they walked through the door.
Just loving human beings so much right now.

@SFPublicLibrary
CA will be aligning with the new CDC guidelines.
If you're fully vaccinated, outdoors, and not in a large crowd -- you do not need to wear a mask.
We've administered 29+ million vaccines & have the lowest positivity rate and case rate in the nation.
Let's do this. Vax up, CA!!
An update from @CDCDirector:
If you are fully vaccinated and want to attend a small outdoor gathering -- or dine at an outdoor restaurant with friends from multiple households -- the science shows that you can safely do so, unmasked.
Very happy CDC now recommending 3 feet spacing in schools: "The change is momentous .because many schools.. operate on part-time or hybrid schedules in order to reduce class sizes. A 3-foot rule would allow many more schools to open in person, full time."
