Learning about work and gender, it is still very common for women that are stay home moms or just wife’s not seen as work, that is a job they are taking care of children or taking care of the home and cooking. That is considered work #GNDR1000S2020

I didn’t really think about it till now and that is unfair how these aspects determined people get the right healthcare they need. Gender should not matter when it comes to health.#GNDR1000S2020

From learning about social determinants of health and I never knew how much it was based of gender. Like socioeconomic status, occupation, childcare, etc. Heath is gendered and these aspects make it weather good health care is provided or not. #GNDR1000S2020

The media definitely more now has a bigger impact on what people think and for women it definitely do. Cameron Russell explained her experience and she did a great job. Women are supposed to have a certain look if they don’t then judgment comes.#GNDR1000S2020

When learning about media and weight and it really is true how much judgement there is on a person based on weight. Especially on media and it is a terrible thing it should not matter. People judging each other gets you no where, instead hurts.#GNDR1000S2020

Watching the video why some Indigenous people are calling out Canada 150 really opened my eyes I didn’t realize we we’re celebrating colonization and that isn’t really a good thing.Canada day is celebration,however watching this it is different #GNDR1000S2020

From watching the video sexuality and disability, it is said people with disabilities are left out when it comes to certain things like beauty and sex. That isn’t fair, just because you have a disability doesn’t mean you can’t have sex. #GNDR1000S2020

After watching the sissy boy experiment, this was very hard to see a boy since 5 years old and being put in this experiments that changed him just because he rather playing with girl toys. It should not matter as long as the person is happy.#GNDR1000S2020
