@justintrolle Amen to that. Unfortunately a I’ve seen a lot of athletes either don’t learn that ever, learn the hard way, or learn it too late. Applies to swimming also and cycling to a lesser extent.
@TriathleteMag And not one mention of body fat or whether an athlete actually should be losing weight or not. This article could have been great but is actually re-enforcing a serious cultural problem in endurance sports. lighter is not always better.
