50 years of algorithm critique in #Planning and I always come back to this @APA_Planning #JAPA piece from *1973* by Doug Lee.

Lessons learned from the 1960s lead him to these recommendations for "future modeling efforts". They are just as useful today...

Consider the Learning Agenda for local govt. Craft analytics to solve specific strategic planning goals eg. 'reduce gun violence'.

Seems easy, but not the current culture.
