The body promotes the Biafran cause through diplomatic engagement, global media, and peaceful agitation, aiming for a UN-supervised referendum.

The DOS focuses on the objective of independence, often issuing directives that address misinformation and efforts to influence the southeast region

For generations, humans have depended on, exploited and consumed plants for their survival, yet the plants have never demanded anything in return.
Plants possess an abundance of patience. They know that everything will eventually become their source of nourishment.
Without perseverance, if plants where to be humans, they and humans would've been in constant war.
But, plants has remained patient waiting because it knew humans came out from it as nourishment and will end up becoming plants own nourishment too.
Plants long time ago, knew that nothing worth fighting for. When we uproot plants and cook them for food, they don't fight back. They serve their purposes in our own choices. They simply wait as time will make things fall into their own path. The same plant that was cooked, eaten and digested will still end up become feaces, decay to become manure that will nourish new plants for the continuity of Life.
Plants remain rooted in their place. Their root have taught them that time pays and the dead becomes the source of nourishment for the living.
We Must remember the Dead.
But can humans endure and not fight back like plants?
Do you think so?

#UK foreign policy against #Biafra
During the 1967–1970 #Nigerian Civil War, the UK adopted a staunch pro-Nigeria policy, actively opposing Biafran secession to protect economic interests, primarily Shell-BP oil investments.
The British government, led by Harold Wilson, provided massive diplomatic support and arms supplies to the Nigerian military government, which facilitated a naval/air blockade causing widespread starvation.
Key Aspects of UK Policy Against Biafra (1967–1970) Military Aid: Britain was the main supplier of arms to Nigeria (along with the USSR), supplying millions of rounds of ammunition, machine guns, grenades, and armored cars.
Economic Interest: Whitehall feared that a broken Nigeria would threaten British oil investments, particularly those of Shell-BP, then largely controlled by the British government.
Supporting Federalism: The UK sought to maintain a unified Nigeria, seeing Biafran independence as a threat to stability and British regional influence.
#Diplomatic Pressure: British High Commissioner in Lagos, David Hunt, pressured officials against supporting Biafra, often disregarding reports of Nigerian brutality.
Opposition to Secession: #London ignored reports of massacres of Igbos (the basis for secession) and officially denounced the breakaway state.
Humanitarian Concerns: The British policy was highly controversial, facing domestic pressure due to the starvation, yet the government continued to support the blockade against Biafra.
Current Relations: Modern tensions exist, with the UK providing asylums to some Biafrans asylum seekers escaping violence in the South-East, which the Nigerian government has deemed "disrespectful" and a continuation of interference.

We are going to remember those whose deaths were used to de-market Biafra. It was all part of destruction plan. Just to destroy IPOB by criminalizing self-determination.
All the intelligence for those contractual killings in Biafraland were known by Nigeria government but it was all part of a plan. So, we must acknowledge this shortfalls and accept that damage was done, even though the IPOB leadership was not sleeping. Even though the leadership shouted and tried to warn our people.
Although some people are now aware of the game and are gradually healing, now is not the time to hold back. We must continue especially now that the time requires honest men.

The 3Rs of Gowon's government was never implemented. Our land was never rehabilitated after the war. Most of the developments happening in our land today are efforts of individuals who thrived from the 20 Pounds given to them after the war, no matter how much you had before the war. Today we have different celebrations in Biafraland, like Easter, New Yam Festival, Christmas and so on but nobody is remembering to celebrate those who fought for our freedom so that we won't be slaves today. Therefore, that is why IPOB led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu have made the May of every year to be the holiest month to remember our heroes and heroins.

This announcement is from the leadership.
While Biafrans in other countries all over the world are advised to get their protest permit, because there will be a serious global protest.
However, in Biafraland, there will be a total lockdown on 30th May 2026, from 6 am to 6 pm. This is to remember those killed in Nkpor, Onitsha, Asaba, Okigwe, Igweocha, etc. Those killed during the Biafran genocidal war, etc.
We encourage Media Warriors to do the needful by using AI to set the internet ablaze. It is a Saturday and we decided not to follow culture by not informing WAEC. We shall write our traditional rulers out of respect.
Biafrans are equally advised to pin the Heroes and Heroins picture on their profile. These 30 days will be taken seriously. Let us show the world that IPOB family worldwide is intact
Every coordinator is by this announcement ordered to record those that will not partake in this solemn event except on the ground of being sick.
We are building a legacy that the next generation will stand on to continue this task assuming we are not the ones to restore Biafra. We must leave a footprint that will be a model to copy

Bala Yakubu, Seeks Destruction of Ordnance Recovered After Biafran War.
Bomb expert Bala Yakubu has urged the federal government to immediately evacuate or destroy about 1,600 deadly ordnance items recovered from old Biafran civil war battlefields.
Mr. Yakubu made the call on Monday, warning that removing and destroying the explosives would help prevent potential disasters. He explained that the ordnance, currently stored at the Mine Action Centre in Owerri, Imo State, was recovered from former Nigeria-Biafra war zones since 2015.
According to him, his company, Deminers Concept, was engaged during the administration of late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua to eliminate the threat of explosions in farmlands across affected regions.
He stated that the explosives were cleared from parts of the South-East, South-South, and North-Central regions, including Anambra, Enugu, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Rivers, and Delta states.
However, he noted that the recovered ordnance has not been destroyed due to a lack of government commitment, despite repeated efforts and correspondence with successive administrations.
Mr. Yakubu revealed that in 2022, one of the recovered mortar bombs exploded, resulting in civilian casualties.
He stressed that urgent government intervention is necessary to prevent further loss of lives and ensure the safety of residents in affected communities.
The expert also disclosed that his company has so far cleared about 17,632 remnants of locally fabricated weapons, including “Ogbunigwe” and “Ojukwu buckets,” from former battlefields.
Additionally, he said 682 antipersonnel landmines and 143 anti-vehicle mines have been successfully removed.
He warned that although these explosives are old and rusty, they remain highly dangerous, which is why international standards require their complete removal.
Mr. Yakubu added that only a small number of marked locations—less than 15 percent within Imo State—remain to be cleared, pending government support.
He further noted that abandoned armoured vehicles from both the Nigerian Army and Biafran forces still need to be removed and preserved in the Army Museum.
He concluded that completing these efforts would finally free affected communities from lingering dangers of the war.

To every heart guided by faith, this is a sacred call.
Join me on Friday the 28th of November, 2025, at 10pm UK Time.
I will speak on the quality of the legal team for my husband, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
A powerful courtroom protest anthem delivered in the defiant spirit of a political prisoner who refuses to be silenced. Sung from the dock in literal chains, the song is a direct, unyielding challenge to an unjust trial: Omotosho!
Every Biafran and sympathizers of MNK should share this SONG: “THEY BROUGHT ME TO COURT IN CHAINS”
Let it go viral .
