New @CircAHA study re a-p vs a-l lead placement for a fib cardioversion was quite interesting and will change my practice. Especially with more sinus rhythm in obese patients undergoing a-l dccv. #CardioTwitter#EPeeps#afib any thoughts?
Listening to @iBookCC podcast on tamponade this am. Favorite parts- feed your cardiologist a granola bar so they won’t be hangry when you consult them. Drainage is more important than compressions in cv arrest. When in doubt fluid out! #MedTwitter
This Thanksgiving, I am grateful for all of my @UMichCardiology co-fellows, especially this group who I get to be in the trenches with! 💪🏼

Lecture was canceled this am so I took a run while listening to the latest @JACCJournals review about exercise induced cardiac adaptations! Good way to start the day.
This was a great thread about the Samson trial. But the best part of the trial was the use of the word bespoke in the manuscript. #hipsters#CardioTwitter#statin
Trying to #runa2 with my pup this week! He has found a dead bird, a bag of kibble spilled all over the ground, and a full slice of deep dish. Any tips on how to keep him focused? #runningdog#dogsoftwitter#dogdad
Loved the reminder to turn down the oxygen! I’m a big fan of empowering medical students and residents to wean o2. (As long as they monitor and communicate with the bedside nurse!) https://t.co/4501sHgyEG
Loved this episode! Biochemistry, clinical applicability, debunking of myths with evidence and a clear call for improved implementation of ldl lowering therapies!
The pieces that are hardest to write are the ones we must write.
The pieces we fear sharing are the ones we must share.
This is how my anger as a minoritized person kept me alive.
So honored to have worked with
@JennyHaward84 of @Newsweek on this.💖

Potentially practice changing study in @NEJM today. The original TTM trial made it less onerous to treat cardiac arrest survivors by making mild hypothermia the standard, and with TTM2, it is likely that preventing fever alone may be enough. #RCTsFTW

Great review in jama this week: Lower Extremity Peripheral Artery Disease Without Chronic Limb-Threatening Ischemia https://t.co/1oMPM2soD9 via @JAMA_current part of @JAMANetwork. Especially enjoyed the discussion/review of anti platelet and anticoagulant agents for PAD.
