@Amtrak Tell me, is it smarter for crew to allow oversize suitcase in the aisle? Is it harder for them to check the luggage in the baggage car? Train 20(9) currently around Danville VA. This appeared overnight. Where is crew?
@Amtrak Bad answer to cover up bad @amtrak policy. Should be SCA in EVERY sleeper. I should not have to go to next car to request bed put up/down or food delivery. Attendant implies attention. Too much demand on 1 SCA to handle 2 cars.
@amtrak I am on train #2(5) going El Paso to New Orleans. I'm in transition sleeper with no dedicated SCA. How do I get SCA attention for service? No response to call button.
Religion is the oldest form of FAKE NEWS. The whole idea of ANY religion is phony, and I think people need it as a crutch to get thru their miserable lives. Look at the success I am, without it!!!
NJ Transit launches Hudson βNewBusβ reevaluation project survey with goal of fine-tuning service https://t.co/TPWx7283P4 Before anyone gets excited, NJ TRANSIT has NewBus Newark and NewBus BCG in place already and both have been stalled for several years now with no action.
@Amtrak you gave wrong information to media regarding Maryland incident 149 vs ATV. Train 149 does NOT go to Roanoke. It ends in Washington DC. On Sundays late day train to Roanoke is Train 145, which had already long passed the scene well before 149 was involved. Correction?
It may be important to put this derailment into perspective. Rail cars derail pretty frequently, most of the time without incident of injury. All a derailment means is that the car is off the tracks.

Say WHAT? That should ease the minds of your frequent passengers. If you have pretty frequent derailments, that should be investigated right away. And saying that a derailment means that the car is off the tracks is like saying a sunny day means the sun is out.
