@anothercohen@Tesla Not true. It’s great for road trips but in the city the navigation needs work, potholes and manholes are an issue, can’t back into parking spot at home for charging. There are times that it’s great and times that it’s not so great. The subscription isn’t cheap.
@CNBC “The hard part” went from a few to 169 in under a month. The factory can output 5,000 in under a week. Maybe @CNBC needs to follow my tracker https://t.co/CFguLyyfV0
Somebody needs to fix the customer experience with support. I tried to get onto Grok Bot and when I had account issues I couldn't get support for over a week and so I couldn't use the trial and I couldn't use the $20 option because of the account issues. So everything got cancelled and refunded but the trial period ended and I didn't get to use it. The support person gave me a way to solve the account issues but then it was a totally different solution and a Super Grok trial which is double what I actually wanted to trial and potentially use. A really bad customer experience simply because I couldn't get any support to solve the account issues in the first place and the support person didn't go back and look at the fact that the original Grok Bot account couldn't get support either and so the trial didn't get used and also didn't get reactivated, so I could trial regular Grok Bot. And by the way...he never told me that I was going to hit the Super Grok red herring with his fix.
@SawyerMerritt Strange. Still not pothole avoidance and can’t back into a long driveway parking spot by the garage. Now the car takes over from people driving manually but it’s quite unclear how that’s decided. It’s certainly more jerky at the light.
@niccruzpatane@robotaxi@Tesla You still have to manually take over a lot depending where you live and for sure if you have to back into a long driveway parking spot
Interventions are common. In our city I have to intervene a lot in traffic because it lets everyone in and either sits behind slow traffic or waits until the last second to change lanes for the exit. That combined with the speed profiles forcing me to switch all the time has made me use FSD a lot less
@SawyerMerritt@elonmusk@aelluswamy You can certainly say that’s some good execution skills at play to bring it to market so smoothly. Will be interesting to see how well it works in areas like Ottawa that have masses of salt and ice on vehicles all winter. Cameras are constantly dirty.
