Fable delegates, Sonnet escalates.
When planning and decomposition is hard, but task execution is easier (codebase refactor), go Fable -> Sonnet.
When routine is easier but some tasks are spiky hard (debugging, repeated tool call failures), go Sonnet -> Fable.
This team up is about a lot more than just the kit. We're gonna build some fun, weird stuff for developers along the way.
Are you a CP fan? Hit me up - would love to bounce some ideas off you
Claude Code artifacts can now call MCP connectors, letting you build dashboards and apps that can fetch information and take actions for each viewer on demand.
Available on Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. Not available on publicly-shared artifacts.
Today we're opening up the DoorDash CLI in limited beta.
`dd-cli` lets you order DoorDash directly from your agent: search stores, find the best deals, check out, and more.
Early access for US/Canadian macOS developers by waitlist. Excited to see what folks build!
Han is a good dude and is taking too much heat for this - hustle is critical. But will share as a startup veteran and participant in too many death marches and diving catches to count, 49 of 50 times they don't actually move the needle. ROI is usually not there.
Co-sign, and will add that breakfast is your best chance to eat something high protein + not garbage before a day of who-knows-what, where the job may dictate where you go and when.
Ancient DevRel Travel Wisdom: Never leave breakfast in the hands of a company or conference. It will either be pastries, non-existent, or two hours later than you need it
Several articles & resources Iβve been reading lately to learn about how LLM architectures have evolved:
* https://t.co/SJdahwnYzU 5 years of GPT-class model progress, only goes to 2023 but that puts more focus on early models where details are precisely known
* https://t.co/38TOG3GSj0 great companion post to the first one as its diagrams and code examples are absurdly helpful. @rasbt has so many articles that could be on this list but I picked this one because of the visuals in particular
* https://t.co/Ge9IRkFSnt denser than other posts. my attention can glaze over some of the deeper math formulas but as a synthesis of key LLM concepts have evolved this is excellent
* https://t.co/1G6bkCQzEp both accessible in the basics "what is a token?" and detailed, this one goes into other notable models from early LLM days (post image is from this article)
Claude Code on desktop now has an in-app browser.
Claude can pull up docs, designs, or any other site. It can read, click through, and interact the same way it does with your local dev servers.
It's sandboxed and configurable: you choose whether sessions persist.
A lot of developers have been asking us how to take advantage of Fable's intelligence while managing cost - @RLanceMartin goes deeper on the subject here!
Congrats to the @OpenAIDevs team on the big ships today - a ton of work to pull all of this together (API, apps, everything in between), and the 5.6 models seem really solid.
@threepointone This was after a configuration error on our Stainless SDK repos. Some Stainless customers were temporarily added as outside collaborators in Anthropic's GitHub enterprise.
All resolved now and no data was exposed, details were emailed to affected customers π
