Mediation and fact finding benefit only th employer. At the end of the process, the employer can reject the fact finder's recommendations that favor the union position and impose anyway. Stop lying about supporting workers.
@VSteed@kelleratlarge I respectfully disagree. The teachers union is very powerful, the MTA has $41 million in their account, and they have incredible political influence. They have mediation and fact finding. They do not need to resort to illegal strikes.
@jimfiorentini@VSteed@kelleratlarge That money belomgs to the teachers. It's theirs to do what they wish. Bet you wouldn't complain if you ever gave them a reason to support you.
1/2 Barry Davis - VP for @HaverhillEd - gave an incredible speech at today’s rally for @WoburnTeachers. “This strike is going to be the best civics lesson you ever teach your students.”
@GyroLard @eligerzon@MaldenEduAssoc@HaverhillEd@SBWorkersUnited No. The right to strike means employers have to respect the credible threat and bargain in good faith. More strikes now means fewer strikes later. Which side are you on?
@Budget, been trying to get a refund for the disastrous experience with my rental car that died (twice) in the middle of my trip. Not only is your Roadside Assistance division absolutely useless, so has your customer service been so far! 🤬
