#ALERT: Abiy Ahmed’s regime has again launched drone strikes in Southern Tigray, reportedly targeting civilian areas—the fourth aerial attack in just one week.
How many attacks must civilians endure before the world speaks?
The international community, @UN, @antonioguterres, @AUC_PAPS, @EU_Commission, @StateDept and human rights organizations must urgently condemn these repeated aerial attacks, demand protection for civilians, and press for an immediate end to the violence.
Silence in the face of repeated attacks only deepens the danger to civilians.

Once again, Tigrayan civilians are bearing the brunt of a war they did not choose as the international community prioritizes political expediency over civilian protection, accountability & the prevention of further atrocities.
Reports from Tigray of drone attacks in Mekelle as concern mounts about escalating violence. International community must engage and not look away @Ed_Miliband@StewartWood@kirstyjmcneill@UN@martinplaut https://t.co/gtB7FEFABg
When one side of a potential devastating conflict asks for a diplomatic intervention, no matter the motivation, the international community should listen. Where the hell are the peacemakers? https://t.co/TQetJyl3Hu
The Ethiopian federal government is bombing civilians in Tigray again. On August 20, 2026, drones struck the city of Mekelle and sent at least thirteen wounded people, women and children among them to Ayder Hospital, a hospital that years of siege have left it without reliable access to the most basic surgical and medical supplies. It was the gravest point in a three-week escalation of drone strikes across the region, and it violates the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement signed in 2022.
Add your name to send a letter to your senators, representatives, and members of Parliament, urging them to act now to stop the strikes and protect civilians in Tigray: https://t.co/E4O1017Pwb
Horrified by reports of fresh drone strikes today in southern & northwestern Tigray targeting civilians. Days ago, another devastating strike in Mekelle injured at least 13 people, including children.
Ethiopia: It’s reported that three civilian Amhara men—Temesgen Getachew, Yitagesu Asegde, and Gizaw Girma—were forced off a public bus in Abeshge Woreda, Gurage Zone, and brutally killed by regime forces after being accused of being “Fano members''
By now, the children of Amhara and Tigray should enjoy celebrating Ashenda,Ashendiye, and Buhe(Debretabor),instead the regime has been bombing them.#stoptargetingchildren#Childrendeservebetter
PP jet strikes on civilians with 13 civilian casualties, including a two-year-old child; the warjet was concealed behind a civilian Ethiopian airliner, risking the lives of those on board.
What does @reda_getachew and #Tsadikan and other in Addis Ababa have to say about this?
@AbiyAhmedAli will never stop until he break the spirit of Tegaru and make them bow for him which will never happen.
It was never about TPLF form him.
Ethiopia: Is PM Abiy Ahmed increasingly playing the ethnic card in Oromia, in an attempt to ethnicise the war in Amhara and elsewhere to consolidate Oromo support and shield himself in his home region?
A reported drone attack on Mekelle, Tigray’s capital, by the Federal government of #Ethiopia is deeply concerning. The TDF’s (Tigray Defense Force) restraint and refusal to retaliate show a clear effort to prevent further escalation. Restraint is not weakness. It is responsibility. @BBC@CNN@AP@Expressen@FoxNews
Abiy Ahmed's plan was crytal clear from day 1, to completely destroy #Tigray & be a sovereign over the fate & its coveted resources.
#TPLF is just a cover. The subjugation of Tigray is his top priority!
He now has gullible Tegaru serving his goal. @reda_getachew, @ProfKindeya
Again, a war criminal, not a @NobelPrize laureate. @AbiyAhmedAli bombed Mekelle, Tigray, with drones, as if he had not already killed over 600,000 Tigrayans in 2020. For the past three years, he has been doing the same in the Amhara region, killing women and children like those shown below.
I think it is time for the regional opposition forces from Tigray, #TDF, and Amhara, #FANO, to unite and launch an attack to unseat him from power, targeting the capital and his office. It is within their rights.
