🇦🇷 🏆 Messi magic lights up the World Cup! This new penetration focused practice is based on Argentina's first goal in their win against Algeria at the 2026 World Cup.

⚽️ 3 V 3 Build Up Wave Game | 97-P8!
Key Coaching Points:
🔵 Maintain width and depth to stretch the defensive block
🔵 Encourage quick, accurate passes to break lines
🔵 Recognise and exploit spaces when defenders over commit
🔵 Focus on timing for penetrating passes
One of my preferred shapes when defending corners: the zonal ‘V’, plus three blockers slowing down the Japanese runners.
The two in the front zone need to communicate if a runner goes for a short option, though.

🇸🇪 Want to play like Sweden's deadly front two? Here's how to develop the movement that led to their 2nd goal vs Tunisia! ⚽
This pattern of play is designed to help you develop synchronised front 2 play on the training pitch. Drill it, own it, use it in games. 💪

3-2-4-1 OFF vs. 4-4-2 DEF : quelles problématiques dans l'animation défensive ?
Exemple avec le Paraguay vs. USA hier soir.
- Comment gérer l'infériorité numérique dans la zone d'initiation adverse ?
- Quand et où déclencher le pressing ?
- Qui gère les courses des deux 10 ?

Switching Play & Crossing 6v4 + GK
💠Set-Up: Play in a portion of the field, ending where the 4 mini goals are placed. Orange attacks the 4 mini goals, while blue attacks the full-size goal with the GK. Two neutral wide players in black stay in the green wide channels.
💠Rules: Teams can only score after one, or both neutral wide players have been used. Unlimited touches to start. Offside applies in the opposition half.
💠Coaching Points: Accurate passing, good weight and timing of passes, support angles, knowing when to keep possession and when to switch play. Switch quickly to create crossing chances and finish with a cross.
💠Progressions: 3-touch max, 2-touch max, 1-touch finish. Wide players can enter from the green box on 2 touches but cannot score.

This drill would likely be a 2 or 3 RPE in PlayerPulse, but should be performed with minimal fatigue!
I don’t know what the game model is called.
But I want my team to play like this:
– Attack fast
– Take players on
– Win the ball back quickly
– Play with speed and control
– React instantly in transitions
– Combine, create, and commit
– Defend as a unit with urgency
– Move constantly to stretch opponents
– Play to score, dominate, and decide games
