This morning,we toured the Hayward Field where the @nikepreclassic meet will be taking place tonight and tomorrow. The photos will tell you the story, i can only say that the people given the responsibility to construct and manage our stadiums will learn a lot if they can visit Hayward stadium. It's truly amazing!

The @Nike design team this afternoon took the Kenyan athletes through the design process for the development of the Kenyan apparel and running kit during the LA 28 @Olympics as the CDM, for LA 2028.

I was on hand to give them the required support. The kenyans can have a glimpse of what is in store for their teams!

The second step in the doping control process is Notification, where selected athletes are officially informed and provided with all the necessary guidance before testing begins.

When athletes understand the process, they can approach it with confidence, knowing that every step is designed to uphold transparency, fairness, and the spirit of clean sport.

Kibiwott Kandie has received a seven-year ban by the Athletics Integrity Unit after admitting to refusing a sample collection and tampering with the doping control process.

The former half-marathon world record-holder ran 57:32 in 2020 and sits No.3 on the world all-time rankings behind Jacob Kiplimo and Yomif Kejelcha.

Kandie faced an eight year sanction but cooperated with officials and received a one year reduction.

The Kenyan is a three-time Valencia Half Marathon champion in 2020, 2022 and 2023 and Commonwealth Games (10,000m) bronze medallist in 2022.
