@mmamas1973 Doctors should be political. At work politics don't matter, however the fact that you are not allowed due to GMC to express political opinions, is an absolute joke.
Elon Musk is, at this point, quite obviously an online far-right campaigner. Those are the accounts he interacts with and those are the messages he transmits. The fact he liked the previous prime minister and despises this one speaks very highly of Keir Starmer.
So @UHP_NHS have 44 PAs working there
Yet they have no scope documents or SOPs in place
And they don’t hold any information on any significant events that involve PAs
Well done @gmcuk@CQCProf@RCPhysicians 👏🏽… 👏🏽… 👏🏽
So doctor at fault.
This is going to become more and more common.
Doctors picking up the flack for less trained people in the generally specialist medical model
This is bonkers @gmcuk
If prescribing & radiology requesting are both via the NON-medical route,
Then why are the General MEDICAL council even involved?!
Who is driving this rubbish & where is coming from?!
Hi Colin
Interested to know, when will the public consultation for PA prescribing be?
You know, since this is a grave change to healthcare practice in the UK
GMC already know PAs are working out of scope - now you want to further endanger patients by allowing prescribing

@ClinOncDoc@jim_crawfurd@NHSE_WTE To be fair I was Tpd in under 1 year post CCT. But I still had to do the 14 years before. Any consultant is eligible for TPD. Experience measured in years goes only this far. I don't see why a random doctor can't be eligible for the job though
@The_Gusman@drp297 Why would you mind moving if you could afford it, you could even support your family and it would allow time for your partner to find a job? What happens is literally the opposite. People got kids in schools, have lives etc etc yet they don't have a chance to affect outcome...
@CathDavison64 @IncogAssociate @iDrSunny We can always ask GEC students for the 4 year medical course. People with BMedSci, BSc, MSc and PhD... They still find it exhausting despite maturity. Very little of their previous learning is applicable. Even dentist graduates do an extra three... It's hard.
If you do not study medicine?
You can NOT be a Medical Professional
Either that or everyone in healthcare ‘studies medicine’
And the @gmcuk can regulate everyone -at taxpayers expense
Stop drawing false equivalence to confuse the public you are supposed to keep safe.
Thanks
