What diseases can cause PAINFUL HEPATOMEGALY ?
- Budd-Chiari or subacute right heart failure.
- Alcohol-associated hepatitis especially in young people.
- Biliary obstruction (sometimes no hepatomegaly).
- Some cases liver infiltration/polycystosis/abscess.
