Collateral infrastructure is becoming the critical bridge between tokenisation and practical market adoption.
In a recent interview with @SecFinTimes, Darren Jordan outlined how Komainu is helping institutions put digital assets to work within familiar financing frameworks by reducing settlement risk, improving capital efficiency, and building the governance foundations that institutional participation requires.

It was our third year taking on the 5.6km course, and once again the team delivered a strong result: 18 finishers with an average time of 33:37.
Well done to everyone who ran. Great effort all round!
What does tokenisation mean in practice for a traditional asset manager?
Crypto market infrastructure is now underpinning tokenisation, bringing real efficiencies to settlement.
At @FundForumEvent in Monaco last week, Komainu CCO Darren Jordan sat down with Joanna Simpson to discuss on-chain settlement, private key governance, and the importance of a regulated third-party custodian.
This infrastructure shift is significant, but it won't happen overnight. Institutions that engage early, with the right counterparties, will be better placed as the frameworks mature.

Next week, Paolo Mara, Chief Legal Officer at Komainu, will be in Paris for FinAccelerate Europe, the Jones Day-led fintech accelerator bringing together innovative fintech companies, financial institutions and investors.
Paolo will be joining the Institution and Banking Panel on July 9 where he will be sharing his perspective on the legal and regulatory considerations shaping institutional engagement with digital assets and fintech innovation.

Last week, the Komainu London office hosted their annual Summer Party, on what naturally turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year.
BBQ, Pimms, garden games, and great company on the office terrace made for a perfect afternoon. It was a wonderful chance to get the team together and reflect on a first half of the year that gave us plenty to celebrate.
H1 has been a busy one. We've expanded our product offering, taken home industry awards, attended key events across the globe, and continued to grow as a business. None of that happens without the hard work and dedication of the people who make Komainu what it is.
Here's to an equally exciting H2!
Tokenisation has been dominating recent conversations and headlines. We saw this first hand in Monaco at #FundForum this week, across panels, booths and side conversations alike.
Komainu COO, Jonathan Patterson joined a session on the evolution of digital assets in traditional wealth management: how tokenised funds reshape cross-border distribution, what decentralisation means for liquidity and portfolio construction, and whether new digital infrastructure has moved from differentiator to baseline expectation.
We heard the same questions at our booth.
On Wednesday, we co-hosted an educational closed-door lunch with @Ripple and @LiCuido1, bringing together a group of senior leaders from asset management, banking and financial services, focused on what instant settlement and tokenisation of real-world assets mean in practice for institutional markets.
For Komainu, the conversation always comes back to infrastructure. Secure, regulated and segregated custody, settlement and collateral services are what turns tokenisation, and the efficiency it promises traditional financial markets, into reality.
Ethereum is the backbone of a significant share of the global digital asset ecosystem. As staking has become central to how the network is secured and governed, institutions are increasingly looking at it not just as a source of rewards, but as a form of active participation in critical market infrastructure.
In our latest insights piece, we examine how Ethereum staking works in practice, the models available to institutional participants, and the key operational and regulatory considerations that shape how it should be approached.

Digital assets are reshaping how institutions think about collateral, not just by introducing new asset types, but by changing the speed, mobility, and efficiency with which collateral can be managed.
Komainu's CCO, Darren Jordan, spoke to Securities Finance Times about how digital asset infrastructure is bridging the gap between traditional securities finance and the digital asset ecosystem, and what that convergence means for collateral management and the road ahead.

Staking is a core strategy for institutions looking to increase the utility of their digital assets.
Through Komainu's custodial staking model, institutions can earn blockchain rewards while assets remain in regulated, segregated wallets.
With validator partnerships including @twinstake_io, @Kiln_finance, @Figment_io, @BlockdaemonHQ, and @P2Pvalidator, as well as support for a growing range of assets, Komainu provides the infrastructure for institutions to stake with confidence.
In our ongoing insights series, we'll be exploring each supported asset in depth, covering the mechanics, rewards, and considerations for institutional staking.

Next week, Komainu will be at @FundForumEvent in Monaco. Don't miss our COO, Jonathan Patterson, speaking on the panel "The Evolution of Digital Assets in Traditional Wealth Management" on Wednesday 24 June.

Education remains one of the most significant gaps in the digital asset ecosystem.
Bitcoin and digital assets differ fundamentally from traditional financial markets, and understanding that difference is essential for institutional investors and allocators making informed allocation decisions.
That's where the Blockstream Institute comes in.
Founded by renowned cryptographer, @Blockstream CEO and Komainu Board Member @adam3us, the Institute offers in-depth courses taught by investment professionals, industry leaders, and technologists, providing deep insights into Bitcoin and the innovations surrounding it.
The Institute equips investors and allocators with real-time perspectives from world-class educators and industry leaders, enabling confident, well-informed decisions about adding Bitcoin to their portfolios.
Komainu has been proud to support the Institute's development, contributing expertise from across our team as the curriculum took shape. You may spot some familiar faces among the educators.
