It's clear to us that 2022 is the year that PA's lawmakers should offer tax relief to working households. That's why we called for action today at the State Capitol - a state EITC should be a priority in budget negotiations this month.

@Pink has been on tour a grand total of two days and already my 42 y/o self has experienced a 300% increase in interest for aerial fitness and a short, sassy haircut.
Alarming new facts released today in the @unitedwaypa ALICE report. Out of the 5.2 million families in #PA, 39% are living below the ALICE threshold for survival which sits at about $66k a year for a family of four. That has gotten worse in the past 3 years. @CBS21NEWS
And there is still a chance to do better this fall. United Way will continue to advocate this fall for a refundable #EITCforPA that provides meaningful relief for families by returning some of their hard-earned tax dollars to their household budgets.
#pabudget misses the mark on much-needed tax relief for ALICE inflation-ravaged households that work and live paycheck to paycheck, especially those who earn 50kish or less. @unitedwaypa will have a statement later this morning. Follow or DM for more info.

@DublinLive And there are so very many more whose luggage has been lost for even longer. This source will start to help provide a sense of how widespread of a problem this is: https://t.co/7Jr9pXuu4n
@IrishMirror So many have similar stories, my husband and 2 buddies included. Three weeks ago, 4 of 6 bags lost on way to EDI and the other 2 lost on way home. One is still missing. Ditto on confusing info, just started claim process to get interim expenses paid. Hangar at EDI pictured below.
@gourmetmei@AerLingus@SOIreland Maybe your voice can help get this sorted for everyone. Thousands have experienced trips ruined in the last couple of months. Clothes, medicine, professional equipment. It took 2-3 wks for my husband and friends to get most bags back. One (golf clubs) seems to be gone forever.
@BBCJamesCook The pile keeps getting bigger. Now, bags that Aer Lingus has failed to deliver must be stored in hangars. This photo was shared from Edinburgh on a public Aer Lingus complaint group on Facebook. https://t.co/7Jr9pXuu4n
@larkinmorgan @AndyReidDev @AerLingus A diligent worker at BWI identified his bag and googled his name, somehow found his parents’ phone number in the process and then parents connected my husband to the worker so she could verify his address. The bag hasn’t arrived yet but is allegedly going to be delivered tonight.
@AndyReidDev @AerLingus Also recommend making sure your identity, or that of your elderly parent, is optimized to be found in a Google search so that a diligent stranger working at an airport can find you to verify your address & re-unite you with your bag. This story is real, happened to my husband.
@AndyReidDev @AerLingus After being told as recently as today by baggage services at Aer Lingus that a delayed bag was still in Edinburgh, turns out it had arrived at BWI a week ago via five other countries and three other airlines. They likely don’t have a real clue where your bag is.
@AerLingus 🚨🚨 Travelers should pay attention. Do yourself a favor and research what is going on with luggage. Thousands impacted for weeks on end. You only get customer service if you spend hours tracking down the right people to complain to. A nightmare.
@MaryJeanneReyn@AerLingus And you’re one of the “lucky” ones. Three travelers, all checked bags lost plus one carry on that forced to be checked. Happened 15 days ago. One bag returned. Wouldn’t travel this airline right now unless The clothes on my back are all I need.
@GailRyan @KOinPA1 @BBCJamesCook@AerLingus It's a great thought, but for those traveling with golf clubs and 10 days worth of gear and clothes, they are depending on the airline to do their job and fix their mistakes timely when they happen. My husband's bags are missing for 14 days and counting.
