Extremely proud to share this work performed during my PhD with professor @rasmushartmannp . Check it out to learn more about how protein folding and degradation is inherently linked - or simply to admire a bunch of beautiful yeast work 👩🔬✨🧫 Thanks to all involved! 🙏🏻
Brief update on some exciting progress on #AlphaFold! We’ve been heads down working flat out on our full methods paper (currently under review) with accompanying open source code and on providing broad free access to AlphaFold for the scientific community. More very soon!
“Gåden om proteinfoldning er løst!” ...eller er den? Læs med i @weekendavisen idag, hvor @LindorffLarsen, Jakob Rahr Winther, Rasmus Hartmann-Petersen og jeg forklarer hvordan forskere prøver at løse proteinernes molekylære puslespil. 🧬🔍👀 #AlphaFold2
Check out this beautiful new manuscript on type I IFN in GC reactions from the Johansson-Lindbom lab! Congrats Adam and @mwdahlgren!

Looking for a postdoc in single cell proteomics and spatial biology? I’m searching for two postdocs to join our @ProteinAtlas team at @scilifelab@KTHuniversity in beautiful Stockholm. Read more in the thread, and please RT 🙏❤️ /1
Looking into potential functional aspects of the "knot" proteins in bow-tie motifs, we found them associated with multifunctionality, cellular essentiality and broadly expressed across cell types and tissues.
We at the @TheBrunakLab and co have published a new network paper on bow-tie motifs in cellular protein interactomes linked to multifunctionality and essentiality: https://t.co/rOfhJCuvAv. Thanks to all who where a part of this! @jessicaxhu @s_brunak@kirstinebelling. See below.
Further analysis showed that the central protein of bow-tie motifs (called "knots") had unique network characteristics and were ubiquitously found between protein complexes.
Here's some interesting data on hospital avoidance. In New York City, visits to the ER for asthma attacks are only around 1/4 of their usual levels. Same for vomiting-type symptoms and diarrhea.
