There are 5 elements of an AI agent. You have to nail each one to have reliable enterprise agents. But you don't have to DIY. Everything you've invested in Salesforce gives you a huge head start.
1️⃣ Role. What job is the Agent doing? It's similar to the roles @salesforce customers have already defined today across the Customer 360. If you're using @SalesCloud, you've defined roles for your SDRs and AEs: their tasks, metrics and dashboards. It's also the management of these roles— we've extended Omni Supervisor to allow you to manage both your contact center workforce and Service Agentforce.
2️⃣ Data. What knowledge the Agent can access in order to perform its role. Salesforce customers have all of this data already in the Salesforce Platform. Structured data like your custom objects as well as unstructured data like Slack conversations and knowledge articles. This also includes metadata and external data. Our new Data Cloud Zero Copy Partner Network lets pull in all of your external data lakes and warehouses to be activated by #Agentforce.
3️⃣ Actions. What systems and workflows you want your Agent to access in order to get the job done. This is powerful and not something you want to risk an LLM hallucinating. Good news: you've already built your trusted business processes into Salesforce- every Flow you've invested in, every line of Apex code, every @MuleSoft API is now available for you to point and click and empower your Agentforce.
4️⃣ Channels. Where do employees and customers interact with your Agent?
