Claude Code
Claude Code
claude --advisor opus --subagentshaiku

Configure my Claude Code workspace for hierarchical advisor orchestration.
Goal:
Optimize development efficiency by assigning
planning, implementation, and research to
different models.
1. Audit current configuration
Check:
- ~/.claude/settings.json
- Project-level Claude configuration
- ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md
Verify which advisor, subagent, and model
settings are supported by the installed version.
2. Configure model roles
Main Agent: Sonnet 5.5
- Primary implementation
- Code editing
- Test execution
- High reasoning effort
Subagents: Haiku 5.5
- Parallel file discovery
- AST analysis
- Documentation research
- Medium reasoning effort
- Maximum 3 parallel workers
Advisor: Opus 5.5
- Architecture review
- Complex debugging
- Final code review
3. Configure advisor checkpoints
Consult Opus when:
- Finalizing multi-file architecture plans
- The same test or compiler error occurs twice
- Reviewing the final diff before completion
- Preparing important Git commits
Avoid advisor calls for routine tasks.
4. Optimize context usage
- Keep research tasks inside Haiku subagents
- Return concise, structured summaries
- Avoid unnecessary full-file outputs
- Preserve main-session context
- Escalate only complex decisions to Opus
5. Apply safely
- Show every proposed configuration diff
- Explain unsupported settings
- Do not invent configuration keys
- Do not modify files without confirmation
- Ask for approval before applying changes
First, inspect the current environment
and present the recommended configuration.

I decided to run an experiment to see how different language and multimodal models handle specific visual tasks
Task: Generate and visualize a scene featuring a basketball hoop, backboard, and a flying ball
Claude Opus 4.7 ($0.30) Classic static model of the backboard and net
Gemini 3.1 Pro ($0.48) Detailed rendering including the pole mount
ChatGPT GPT-5.4 ($0.64) Abstract option with a blurred background
Kimi K2.6 ($0.02) Unexpected angle with the ball falling inside the hoop at a minimal request cost
When evaluating the actual dynamics and trajectory, how the ball flies, Claude Opus 4.7 did the best job of capturing the true essence of movement naturally and accurately
I don't get the hype around Kimi K2.6. It can't even handle simple tasks. The only plus is the low cost, but what's the point if your tasks aren't getting done?
