Chris Smalls is a friend of the Institute and a former special guest at the Progress Summit who spoke about the value of collective action.

The news last night of his treatment as a detainee, after sailing to Gaza on a peaceful humanitarian mission to challenge the blockade, genocide, and get much needed supplies to Palestinians, is incredibly painful to hear.

Chris is a US Citizen and has asked all friends, family and allies to advocate for the US state department to work towards his release from Israeli detention.

The Broadbent Institute echoes calls for his release.
