It hasn't sunk in. It's been a wild 6 years and feels weird not waking up and going to my desk to pixel new sprites. Her adventure has finally come to a close for me so she could start a new one with all of you.

If you enjoyed Oracle of Seasons/Ages this will feel very much like a lost, experimental third. I'm really having a lot of fun. It's just a nice classic top down action adventure that really ticks most of the right boxes for me. More than most other attempts.

I think the balance was there during the Itagaki era. DOA was a sexy game, but it struck the perfect balance between sensuality, violence, and spectacle. Starting with DOA5, they placed too much emphasis on the fighters' sex appeal.
