@NoFilm_Analysis In Dec 2023, on Nico’s breakout year, I traded Nico + Tua (1QB) for Kincaid + 2025 1st, making the final push to secure the 2024 1.01: Marvin Harrison Jr. I did get the 1.01 but we know how it ended, and this trade wasn’t as bad as yours.
@maxtoscano1 I don’t think route running is as relevant for a TE as it is for a WR though. Seems like tackle-breaking / YAC ability + athleticism + run-blocking (to earn a full-time role) is most relevant. That’s what makes a TE a mismatch. Would you agree?
@0xDigitalOil@SuperBowl I once heard an argument that kind of makes sense: United States OF America is similar to how you also say Republic OF [insert country]. People don’t use the full name. Mexico is apparently called United States of Mexico. Still frustrating that it coincides with the continent tho
@chrisperk Can I get your answer on these 2 camp questions? 1. When both Hill & Waddle have been on the field, have you seen Waddle go more in motion or having designed touches, or is it mostly still Hill? 2. Would you say the offense is screen-heavy like last year, deep-heavy or balanced?
@svpino Loss vs iterations. Seems to settle at 0.4 loss and 100 iterations. Depending on the baseline, 0.4 loss might be too high suggesting a high bias model since loss is similar on both training and validation. Need a more complex model or more features. Otherwise, well-fitted model.
@ColinTCrypto Added the indicator on TradingView with the offset, but how do you make it fit to the Bitcoin chart? It seems that when I add it, both charts match on their highest price. Do you need to manually adjust the scales or is there a way to do it automatically?
@SleeperHQ Here’s 2:
1. When looking at available players or leaders, would love a feature that allows you to select a range of weeks for which to display the stats.
2. A view where you can see the fantasy points allowed to a position per week (similar to Yahoo)
@Sherman_FFB Here’s one tidbit I found out recently:
On Sleeper - If you submit a waiver claim dropping a starting player (before their game starts) and the claim processes after the game begins, you’ll still start that player but also drop them in the same week. Useful to drop TNF streamers
@McNamaraDynasty Volatile players might make you bench them on the weeks they boom, and start them on the weeks they bust. Having multiple volatile players could lead to a “consistent” team but with worse performance, hence my comment that it might not be apples to apples
@McNamaraDynasty Nice thread, however, I wonder whether it was the right process. You drew conclusions about volatile vs consistent players from team’s consistency. Not sure that’s apples to apples. Idea: compare team wins with & without volatile players. Teams with 1,2,3 volatile starters…
