This decision would be devastating for farmers of organic & biodiverse crops this country desperately needs to have and protect. Courts have already unauthorized the use of Dicamba twice because it so damaging.

The fact that dicamba was championed by former [American Soybean Association] lobbyist Kyle Kunkler, who stunningly now leads pesticide regulation, shows that the revolving door and special interests are alive and well @EPA. The Supreme Court is considering giving pesticide makers sweeping immunity from lawsuits.

As long as the EPA says their pesticides are “safe,” you wouldn’t be able to sue them for causing cancer anymore.

There’s just one problem:

The EPA is captured by the pesticide industry.

Stacy Malkan told Kim Iversen that the EPA often uses pesticide “industry data” to make their decisions on pesticide safety.

And President Trump’s DOJ is siding with pesticide makers, urging the Supreme Court to hand Bayer and other pesticide corporations the sweeping liability shield from lawsuits they’re asking for.

That would devastate American farmers, further entrench corporate power, and crush MAHA’s goal of healthier food.

We just published a blog breaking down how this Supreme Court case is part of a much larger “misinformation and intimidation campaign” by Bayer, and why this liability shield would be devastating for American farmers.

Who benefits from the EPA attempting to roll back regulations on formaldehyde? It is certainly not the babies sleeping in cribs with formaldehyde off-gassing from the crib or mattress. It is certainly not our children in our kitchens and schools where formaldehyde off-gasses from cabinets and furniture.
Reducing regulations for chemical companies means exposing our children to harmful chemicals and making America SICKER again. Please stop this.
