Don Mattingly had back problems that shortened his career. Does that mean he also swung incorrectly? Ohtani has had two TJ surgeries does he pitch and hit incorrectly? So you are saying to ignore his Hall of Fame stats over a decade and focus instead on a freak injury at age 34 (which may also have occurred from either being hit in the ribs ir crashing into the wall)? SMH!

Hey Will Thrill! The MLB batting average for ground balks is .236 with a slugging percentage of .280. For fly balls the batting average is over .250-280 with an .800 slugging percentage and .1200 for pulled fly balls. Line drives obviously have the highest batting average, over .600. Hope this helps!

@tron4734AD @RealCJ10 Chipper made the Hall, along with Maddux and Glavine. Only Jeter and Rivera made it from the Yankees, and the Yankees won 4 WS and beat the Braves twice winning 8 straight games. The bias works the other way!
