@Ryan_In_Mi@JohnJHarwood Ryan… you understand the Fed only controls short term rates. 1% Fed Funds would trigger higher inflation. Which is why you can observe long term rates 10 yr+ going higher even as fed lowered rates this week. Clearly Trump doesn’t understand but perhaps you can advise him.
@JulioHashem@AlJean If it can’t be the tigers; I know you’re happy it’s the Jays. We’re all happy, including that certain Sox fan, that it’s not the Yankees!!
@inthemoneypod@barometerca You understand that this guy’s global macro fund is down almost ~9% YTD and was down 2023. His chart system is nonsense. Last in and last out of trades.
@barometerca Your tweets always imply to me, and others I suspect, that you have had great success with your global macro fund; generating significant alpha. Curious how are your net returns in that fund for last 1, 5 and 10 years.?
@PythiaR Yes a significant amount of the value add accrues to US companies. However the commodity inputs are critical to generate the value add. Not sure comparing $2T to $27 is the story.
@lappado@mccartneysfilm@SgtPepper1710 When Ringo Starr was sick, most notably with tonsillitis, he was temporarily replaced by session drummer Jimmy Nicol during a portion of the Beatles' 1964 tour in Europe and Australia; Nicol filled in for around eight concerts while Ringo recovered in the hospital.
@RealKidPoker Why the hell would Canadians want to subsidize many of the red states in return for 2/52 senators and 35 or so members of the house… your question should be more who benefits more Kentucky or West Virginia or Mississippi or Canada
