This is biblical.
A woman in her eighties. Ten years into Alzheimer's. Hadn't spoken a full sentence in five years.
Takes one, 5 gram dose of psilocybin.
She slept 19 hours and woke up and spoke for hours about her life, recognized family and held real conversations. She regained bladder control after five years, walked on her own. and dressed herself. Gains held for weeks.
As expected, city of Saskatoon admin took a report of recommendations that taxpayers spent substantial $ on, watered it down 10:1, and presented to council
And a fraction of those recommendations were accepted
And this is why we can’t have nice things
@kbessey It’s this or:
-looks at local marketplace
- subtracts a couple hundred to drum up interest thinking cheap = loyal
- never raises rents because cheap must = loyal

- sinks a mint into it at turnover because they couldn’t afford upkeep during tenancy

@Storage_Venture Great advice. I would add:
Pay these folks for their work INSTANTANEOUSLY.
You would not believe how many customers they have to chase for payment.
Reliable and fast payment = loyalty, which is what you NEED to make this work.
This painting robot pays for itself on 1 project if it works correctly. Seriously considering it.
One driver is that the project has prevailing wage requirements. I’m not sure people understand that when you create wage requirements it accelerates automation of human labor.
@DevaniAlkarim As far as I can figure, Saskatoon admin took your report, removed ~9/10 of the spirit of it, and recomended but a fraction of what the report recomended
Maintaining existing coverage maximums makes most of what they advanced completely useless / unprofitable
@SteveSaretsky Agree. We should be competing for the highest carbon price, of course! Highest taxes as well. First province to 101% tax rate will be generating wealth out of thin air. Imagine the utopia.
