Today, the FNIH Biomarkers Consortium announces the launch of a significant project to develop and validate blood-based biomarkers for predicting progression to multiple myeloma. This collaborative initiative brings together critical resources and stakeholders from the public sector, the private sector, and academia. By creating less invasive and more accurate prediction methods, we aim to enable earlier treatment and improve patient outcomes.

In contrast to our previous study of #CHIP in #multiplemyeloma which was in a different era, we now report good outcomes even in those with #myeloma and #CHIP in the era of novel agents. Yet, there is an accelerated increase in the incidence of CHIP while on #mmsm treatment.
