Our latest research is now on bioRxiv:
Inhibition of autophagy as a novel therapy for the treatment of neurofibromatosis type 1 tumors https://t.co/TVcbWMsMVI
@LSI_Exeter@UniofExeter
We generated a Drosophila cell model of Neurofibromatosis type 1 and used this to search for potential drugs to treat tumors. We show that chloroquine treatment has a clear selective effect on tumor cells across multiple cell culture and in vivo model systems.
Four permanent posts in interdisciplinary research at the Living Systems Institute - uniting maths, physics, and biology. Apply here; https://t.co/Zx6puBYM4D
