Two patriots made the supreme sacrifice in an ambush laid by Tangkhul-led militants. While NSCN-IM (Hebron) has denied any involvement and instead blamed its own faction, NSCN-Eastern Flank, for the cowardly attack. The fact remains that it was secessionist Kacha Naga militancy that claimed the lives of two sentinels of Northeast India, 40th Assam Rifles personnel Warrant Officer #Balwant_Singh and Havildar #Chandra_Mahan_Singh, while they were serving in the line of duty.
It is important to note that attacks targeting CAPF personnel or the @adgpi in Manipur have been attributed only to Meitei Valley-Based Insurgent Groups (#VBIGs) and Tangkhul-led NSCN-IM or its proxy groups and factions till date. @PMOIndia and @HMOIndia must take decisive action against these terrorist entities which are also actively involved in the attacks of innocent Kuki Villagers in recent times, to eliminate this threat for the nation and to restore lasting peace, security and development in the region.
Every proud Indian🇮🇳 including the Kuki-Zo people deeply mourns the untimely sacrifice of these two brave jawans. May their souls rest in eternal peace.

Truth does not require your admission to exist.
The depth of your hostility toward the Indian Army is an established fact, the world has long witnessed the foundational hatred you Kacha Nagas and Meiteis harbor toward the Indian Army, so it’s not even a subject for debate. You can perform whatever public theater of denial you like, but obfuscation cannot alter reality. The world already knows exactly who is responsible; your denials are no longer a defense, just an admission of cowardice.

When violence is committed by Meiteis or Kacha-Nagas, their identities are often withheld, while incidents in Kuki-dominated areas are quickly attributed to Kukis without verified evidence. Such is the pattern of selective reporting, journalistic integrity in #India@RahulGandhi

Forces sweeping the area after an IED blast in which we lost 2 soldiers in Manipur.
As per initial input, NSCN-IM carried out the IED blast; NSCN-IM is not particularly the most hostile group. This particular group has worked with the armed forces in Nagaland.
Developing situation.

Today in Ukhrul district, a Tangkhul-dominated area, Central forces conducting a combined operation reportedly came under ambush, resulting in the death of two Indian soldiers. There are growing concerns that while security operations are heavily concentrated in Kuki-inhabited areas, alleged activities of armed groups such as NSCN (IM), NSCN Eastern Flank, ZUF (Kamson Group), and other insurgent elements operating through border regions of Ukhrul and Kamjong districts require equal attention from the authorities.
Concerns have also been raised regarding the movement and presence of armed groups in villages and border areas including Sinakeithel, Sareikhong, Thoyee, Leinganching and adjoining parts of Kamjong district. Many believe that security operations and counter-insurgency measures should be conducted impartially and based on credible intelligence, ensuring that all communities are treated equally under the law.
The concerned authorities, including COBRA units and other Central security agencies, are urged to undertake effective and comprehensive operations against all unlawful armed activities in sensitive border regions while safeguarding civilian lives and maintaining peace and stability.

A 9-year-old girl and a 56-year-old mother are now the newest faces of violence at Thingkhongjang village,KPI District.
The NSCN-IM choose to fire into a village, they reveal exactly who they are willing to harm. The victims were not combatants. They were ordinary civilians whose only “crime” was being caught in the path of terror. Their survival is nothing short of miraculous.
Equally disturbing is that this unfolded within sight of a security force @86Bncrpf deployment that existed to protect the village. An attack of this nature should never have been allowed to play out unchecked.
A child now carries the scars of today’s attack. An elderly mother bears its wounds. Those who carried out this assault must be held accountable, and those entrusted with protecting innocent lives must explain why these civilians were left exposed.
