Hello Zeeb-people, I'm looking for a transgenic line (within Canada) or a vector (outside of Canada) called l-fabp:DBP-EGFP. I was wondering if anyone could help a guy out with getting my hands on this? @ZebrafishRock#zebrafish Thanks in advance for any help!
@iscotthsc@ZebrafishRock Yea I realize. Im hoping someone has a line within Canada but the Anand-Apte lab is gonna send up the vector anyways. So. Next time someone needs it in Canada I guess I'll have it hopefully?
Our latest in Nature Comm https://t.co/Lval8Hcija describes a new pathomechanism for #retina dystrophy #RP.
Discovery was via CFAP20, the most conserved protein we've studied, 99%id human to #zebrafish.
It surprisingly 'bends' the dichotomy b/w motile and non-motile #ciliopathy
Super proud to have been a part of this study. We identify a new RP gene, CFAP20, and show it's role in primary and motile cilia in a confluence of cells, zebrafish, c. Elegans, and clinical data. Big props to @PaulWChrystal for the huge amount of blood and sweat he put into this
Proud to finally announce the publication of our new research on retinitis pigmentosa in the journal @NatureComms! Thanks to everyone that worked so hard on this project. https://t.co/46WEgmOb1m

Was incredibly glad to be a part of this paper and discovery. The first gene ever described for otosclerosis, a form of heritable conductive hearing loss.
Happy to collaborate with Dr. Terry-Lynn Youngโs lab on this important discovery!

@MeyerLab I once had laminin 521 recommended. I see some people mentioning vitronectin, we were never able to get that to work, but we're stem newbies, so grain of salt and all that
I regularly work with @FB_Canada as a scientific communicator and they released a podcast all about the genetics of eye disease which I was happy to be a part of. Enjoy!

Why is it when I move anything around in Microsoft Word it says:
"Ah! i see your document is in 11 Calibri font. Surely, you want this part of the document in 12 Times New Roman!"
Bloody hell Word, get it together.
@Neurofourier I'm pretty much of the opinion that all scientific publishing is predatory.
