Stop Killing Games says it will try again with 'the funding to do this properly'

Georgia has officially become a majority-minority state.
For the first time in history, non-White and Hispanic residents make up 52% of Georgia's population.
🚨 BREAKING: The House has PASSED @RepThomasMassie’s resolution to FORCE the release of names of Congressmen who used the Congressional slush fund to pay out for sexuaI misconduct settlements, 420-0
These are TAXPAYER DOLLARS being used to PAY OFF accusers.
And it’s all about to be public.
The Committee on Ethics must now preserve and public release all relevant records.
JUST IN: Democratic socialist Malat Kiros has won her Colorado House primary in a shocking result.
Kiros will likely be the second Gen Z member of Congress.
She currently holds no stocks and has up to $250K in student loan debt.
I’m seeing a lot of condemnation by the media for what’s happening to AT and the Mercury players…which there should be.
But many of those same media members have contributed to the harm inflicted upon them in how they’ve chosen to cover this situation.
Henrico County, Virginia has 37 data centers, which use immense amounts of electricity.
But at the end of June as a heat wave approach the county asked schools and government workers to cut back on electricity use.
County employees were asked to do things like "Turn off lights" and "Adjust blinds" while data center companies, which receive massive tax breaks, have not been asked to conserve electricity at all.

After more than a year of delays, false starts, broken deadlines and dysfunction, the leaders of North Carolina's state legislature have finally delivered a state budget.
The FY 2026-2027 state budget weighs in at nearly 600 pages long. A draft dropped publicly on Monday evening, with the final version out on Tuesday, and a single up-or-down vote scheduled for Wednesday (today). Not a single member of the public, the media, or even Democratic members of the legislature saw it before then - it was written entirely behind closed doors among the Republican caucus.
The final verdict: the state budget bill has some good parts, and a lot of ugly.
The good: teacher raises below what Governor Stein asked for, but higher than the Republican Senate wanted. State employee raises as well. Appropriations for Hurricane Helene recovery and Department of Corrections shortfalls.
The "normal governance" parts: building maintenance, staff to handle new unfunded federal SNAP requirements, and resources to the state park system. (The Zoo and Fort Fisher aquarium are getting their needed staff!)
The ugly: the budget eliminates hundreds of public-facing state positions for Corrections, Agriculture, Public Safety and more which have been vacant due to a lack of resources. It transfers yet more appointment powers away from the Governor and to the leaders of the legislature. It exempts Republican members of the Council of State from administrative oversight of procurement in their offices, but excludes the Democrats.
Oh, and there is a very, very long list of special earmark projects, also known as "pork."
Melat Kiros was fired for speaking out against the genocide in 2023.
Darializa Avila Chevalier was arrested for protesting genocide on Columbia's campus in 2024.
Both are headed to Congress in 2026.
If pro-Israel repression was supposed to intimidate them, it failed.
For all the “the threats are fake ppl” PHX org has been in contact with the police. League upped security. The threat of harm is very real. Make it known and make it stop. Now!
Democratic socialist Melat Kiros beat U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette in a Colorado House primary, a stunning victory for the first-time candidate against a nearly 30-year incumbent.
