@PeriodsPower 💜 I’ve had similar words spoken to me, for so long they haunted me as I felt I couldn’t enjoy the world like others did because there was something wrong with me. Our words are one of our biggest tools that need to be used carefully 💜
@bornstoodup Ah thanks so much Jodie 💜 I’m doing great aside from these lingering physical anxiety symptoms which I hope I will be able to manage without medication again. Great to hear from you and thank you for your words 💜
Having to consider meds after not being off them for long is a tricky one. I am much more aware of my symptoms/management now however the unpleasantness of constant and relatively irrational anxiety is affecting me physically…🧵
For me I have techniques to improve my mental health but the impact on physical health is hard. For example my sleep quality has been hugely affected and night terrors/disturbed sleep is back. I’m also having issues with the loo (soz tmi) and headaches. 🧵
We are looking for individuals who experience difficulties with OCD or experience worry / anxiety about their health to take part in important research on mental imagery.

@stigmainthebin I had to do this yesterday with my mental health team who I haven’t needed to access for a couple of years. Working in mental health does not magically make you immune we are human 💞
@JustEatUK another shocking experience with your crap app- paid for a meal via PayPal, payment instantly taken but no order created and not received by restaraunt. No option to report on app. Help and refund needed please! @JustEatUK
I’ve wanted to try giving up alcohol for a little while now as it can sometimes not be the most helpful for me. So I have given up alcohol for lent, but due to being poorly I haven’t actually drank for a week which is quite an achievement for me 🤣 #sober
@ocdaction -Honestly just not being alone with this bully of a disorder.
-Being part of lived experience panels to hopefully bring positive change/awareness.
-Being able to think/plan for this future instead of just constant fight/flight.
Thank you again for all your valuable contributions in the last OCD clinic Lived Experience Advisory Panel. From this meeting, we have formulated the following priorities for the LEAP for 2022.
