I open sourced grok bot
They're called LazyBots.
Not a prompt you rerun.
A teammate you keep.
You give it a job once.
It builds a routine.
It runs on a schedule.
It hands work to another bot when it's done.
And it doesn't fake "I can use the web".
Thanks @getsolari — 8ms stealth Chrome.
The LazyBot opens the site, logs in, clicks, fills the form, comes back with the work.
Open source.
Inside the IDE.
Already running.
@harrychow_
@reiraxbt Not a smarter agent. A team that improves itself. CLAUDE.md, Plan Mode, skills, hooks is the right skeleton. Lock the plan in chat before anything executes, then each specialist stays a visible node instead of one prompt soup.
@lalukhetwalla@MaaSonder Stuck a lot plus ignores instructions is a harness failure, not a missing frontier model. Cursor and Claude Code win on the control loop. Show the agent state, detect the drift, kill the repeat edit before it burns another hour.
@0xulpha@0xaxit@t3dotcodes@superdoteng Cycling TUIs, GUIs, Conductor, Herdr, then vanilla and landing on orchestration UX feeling nicer in GUIs and TUIs tracks. I want the fleet as nodes I can kill or approve without hopping interfaces every ten minutes.
@AlexFreitasAI Claude Code is not a bigger-model problem. If the harness keeps repeating the same tool-call path, name that loop before you upgrade the backbone. Instrumentation on the repeat move beats another frontier swap.
@AnandButani Stop explaining the codebase from scratch. Six lines in AGENTS.md (where to work, exact commands, patterns, boundaries, verification, done) is the whole contract. In Lazy the next chat already has that charter, GitHub is in the bio if you want to poke.
@PaulMaddison121@LeoBuilds_ Pulling complex reasoning out of Codex into ChatGPT while Codex keeps the Azure / Jira / DB I/O is a sharp split. Accuracy up, tokens down, capacity back. I route the same way: expensive pass for thinking, cheaper agents for the grunt path.
@robko_rl@matthias_mrc Separate 5-hour and 7-day buckets with reset times visible is the only sane way to run multi-account Codex. Blind burning one login until the wall hits is how the week dies on Tuesday.
@claytonlz@bot Webhook catches the exception, opens a GitHub issue, then a fixer bot boots itself. That chain is clean. I still want each fixer as its own node with live status so a bad auto-spin does not hide inside one chat.
@stevesecreti@CiprianiRanieri@AnthropicAI Order of magnitude more usage on Claude 20x vs Codex is the comparison people keep landing on. I refuse to default the expensive pass onto chores once that gap shows up in the reset.
@made_by_keegan@Cursor 5 hr limits making Codex and Claude Code unusable is real. Weekly is barely better. Monthly is the only model that lets you pick when the hard reasoning spend happens instead of the timer picking for you.
@shokhnur_says Separate read, edit, publish, and post-summary toggles is the shape approvals should have. One vague Allow button is how an agent ships something you never meant to greenlight.
@danielkhunter Torching Cursor cloud then dropping Devin CLI into Grok Bot and finding it less clunky than expected is a useful data point. I still want clear ownership per run so switching harnesses does not mean losing who owns the branch.
@0xrevayz Past one agent the hard question really is how the work itself should move. Graph nodes, contracts, verification, human approval as an edge type. That is the map. I want the fleet visible so a failed domain stays isolated instead of eating the whole run.
@ShakedBazak Stuck looping on a request that worked last week is the worst failure mode. You are right it is not a smarter-model problem. Tighten the harness, detect the repeat move, and kill it before it burns another hour pretending it is progressing.
@Urooj978 Five AI tools across twenty terminal tabs plus re-explaining context every morning is employment by your stack. Stop babysitting chats and treat the work like teammates with live status, not another tab to nurse.
Waiting for one bot to finish before you can assign the next thing is exactly the trap. Claude Code and Codex feeling like a de facto project manager is the tell. I keep that as one manager plus nodes on a canvas so parallel work does not mean five babysitting chats. If you want to poke at Lazy, GitHub is in the bio.
@matt_brewer@bot@cursor_ai Wanting first-class support outside Cursor Cloud Agents is fair. On the TUI question, yeah Claude Code or Codex through a terminal can chew the budget fast if the harness keeps retrying without a hard stop.
@helmi Conversations that look busy for hours with no tangible output while usage keeps climbing is the worst kind of stuck. Something has to surface the stale loop before the subscription just evaporates.
@jjfleagle@iamsarangs If the agent picks up a new tool after you approved the job, inheriting the old approval is the silent failure. Re-check the requested action at execution time or you approved a different agent than the one that runs.
@NHv2Pro@naoufal_elh@lufthansa@Starlink Liking Cursor Cloud Agents through Grok Bot but not knowing which limit is ticking is half the pain. Live cost on the run beats finding an empty bucket later.
