@NaomiAKlein Thank you for your reporting on this. Inspired by your long read we have created a micro-lesson to raise awareness of the criticisms of the event. We hope it inspires some action. https://t.co/4cwkm6aytb

Happy September, it’s Rebecca here! This week I've been offering a question a day on the theme of *learning design foundations*, to help you reflect on your own design, and the risk of not having strong foundations in place. Last question today 🧵
We often see orgs wanting to rush to the development phase, resulting in learning experiences that miss the mark, aren’t effective or need to be redone. A strong process that gives time to each phase saves money and energy, and creates a better end result the first time around.

Hi again, it’s Rebecca from LearnJam. Each day this week I'm offering a question on the theme of *learning design foundations* to help you reflect on your own design, and the risk of not having strong foundations in place. 🧵
Learning experiences are created from the decisions made by learning designers, so without a foundation for those decisions, they may contradict each other and make for a disjointed or ineffective overall experience.

Hi, it’s Rebecca from LearnJam taking over this week. Each day I’ll be offering a question on the theme of *learning design foundations*. The aim is to help you reflect on your own design and the risk of not having strong foundations in place. 🧵
I see lots of orgs rushing to build learning experiences and get something live, without taking time to clearly agree and describe the reasons for the experience or its intended benefits. This means it’s hard to know if your learning experience is having the impact you want.

Excited about our @Huddlecraft@LearnJamTweets League of Less Work session today.
We'll refuel our motivation by exploring the relationship between #lesswork and other realms - climate, relationships, equality.
