Hello pals. It's a relief to see that Alaa Abd el-Fattah is alive and has broken his hunger strike. It will be interesting to hear more about the reasons for his decision in due course. For now, I hope he enjoys some birthday cake with his family
Hello there! I'll be sharing my thoughts and reflections on less work at this event. Do come! Spoiler alert: Working less is powerful yet complicated! #4dayweek
Thinking about how to work less? Either at your organisation or as a freelancer?
Join us this Thurs @ 1pm to hear our learnings from The League of Less Work (an 8 month learning expedition for people + orgs reducing their working hours):

@NaomiAKlein - we created a 3-minute micro-lesson about criticism of #COP27 - https://t.co/HpW54h2dpK
It references and links to your @guardian long read article
If you are looking to harness the power of peers, our friends at @EnrolYourself are running their next instalment of Huddlecraft 101. Last year @LearnJamTweets took the challenge of how to move to a flatter organisational structure into H101 and got loads of ideas and inspiration
We want to see a world where everyone, everywhere can put their purpose to the power of their peers.
To help pollinate this future, we created Huddlecraft 101: a 3 day training in how to apply cutting-edge peer-powered practice to your goals 🐝

@ZahraDavidson@ashvir_sangha@annekadeva @HatchEnterprise @Editor_Lucy @DBetzH @askpang I think @shared_assets is a great example - they have implemented a 4-day work week and embrace #teal principles as a way to help them deliver their social impact work looking at how we manage and connect to land - https://t.co/Fo6nqnq9Nv
@teachifiedgamer Hi @teachifiedgamer - Great to be connected, and thanks for the support. It feels really good to be going through these changes, but hard at times too, so the kind words are really appreciated. Have a great week
We've loved immersing in the #reducedhours debate as we prepare for the League of Less work.
Our explorations turned up this *beautiful* digital exhibition from @Atlassian on the history of work from the 1950s to the present day.

When it comes to remote work, overwork is a way bigger problem than underwork.
Yet, companies continually push flawed solutions targeting underwork instead of addressing the real issue.
3/4 We believe it’s all of our responsibility to help to shift the system so that more organisations can make this change, even if it doesn’t increase productivity. This might mean a better distribution of wealth and profits, or workers getting higher wages.
New post from @LearnJamTweets looking at the resistance to a shorter working week. Where does it come from and what responses have we developed over the last 7 months trailing a 4-day week - https://t.co/iI0699uTyT
