@Familyislife74@RupertLowe10 Farage holds the record for the most question time appearences since the millenium.
He owes his political career to that bbc patronage.
@joss_prior@BevJacksonAuth Interesting that you highlight a section that explicitly gives womens refuges / rape crisis centres as an example of somewhere that could legitimately exclude transwomen.
Not what Stonewall et al were briefing those women's refuges, or councils funding them for the last decade.
@David90shaw Of course they would, the end result of leaving the EU was always going to be rejoining with none of our former benefits.
Btw, that's under 5% of our annual debt interest. Just for context.
@jonathanbuchan@BBCWYS Full respect to Meslier for sticking with Leeds when we went down.
Shame how things have ended up.
All the best with whatever comes next.
@codetalkio So in the uk, the minimum wage salary cost to employers is already nie on ยฃ15 an hour.
The government has just opted to hide a big chunk of taxes and pensions contributions from employees.
@codetalkio Genuine question,
Does denmark require employers to pay tax & make pension contributions on top of the headline salary figure, or just from the salary itself?
In UK employers natiomal insurance & pensions contributions mean ยฃ26k min wage pretax salary costs employer ยฃ30k.
@CluelessExpat@Schuldensuehner Oh, ok, best tell the steelworks we've fitted 300kWp to then.
They seemed to think it's significantly cut their bills, but clearly they must be mistaken.
@beesley_cathy@Paul_Briley ยฃ7185.60
Thats HMRC's annual cut for every minimum wage full time employee.
That includes ยฃ3247.80 a year of Reaves jobb tax that employees have no awareness of, as it's paid on top of their wages.
For every ยฃ3 the employee receives, the government gets ยฃ1.
Subsidy?
