What. A. Week.
Keenan Huskey finished in T11th (-8) at the 2nd stage of Q School to advance to Final Stage.
This means he already has conditional status on the Korn Ferry Tour for 2024 and he can skip all pre-qualifiers for PGA Tour Monday qualifiers next year.
Next, he heads to Florida for the Final Stage of Q School. It will be Dec 14-17.
Here’s what is on the line:
- Top 5 finishers and ties at Final Stage get @pgatour cards
- next 40 finishers and ties get @KornFerryTour membership
- players finishing after 40th get conditional status on KFT
Basically, Keenan has a shot at a PGA Tour card, Korn Ferry Tour Card, or improving his conditional status on the KFT. In addition, there are some nice payouts for finishing top 40.
We've been saying it all year. This is his year.

First stage of Q School starts tomorrow. It was a great season for Keenan Huskey. His best ever.
Every year Keenan plays his best golf in spring and summer. This year was no different. He got off to a hot start, played fantastic in Monday qualifiers, and won 4 tournaments. (@acaseofthegolf1 has Keenan as one of the top players who doesn’t have status.)
And every year, Keenan’s game starts to get worse in the fall. He often deals with an injury at the end of the season (this year his shoulder).
He never seems to be peaking going into Q School. He missed at first stage last year.
And the same is true this year. He hasn’t been playing his best golf. He missed the cut in his last event about 2 weeks ago and there have been no events to play in since.
Now he heads to the first stage of Q School in Alabama.
Nothing that has happened this year matters. It all comes down to this.
Will this be the year he finally breaks through? Those of us who have seen him play know it’s time. Let’s see what happens.
Round 1 starts tomorrow. Top 20 (not official yet) advance.

Two greens, double the fun.
@AkshayBhatia_1 and Nicolai Højgaard face off in a match on No. 5 @ZOZOCHAMP.
The catch? They’re playing with their non-dominant hand 😆
What a way to finish 👏
@mattmccarty21 birdies his final hole to move to 7-under @tourchampulf.
He came into the week at No. 34 on the Points List and is now projected to be No. 19.
I heard from a very, very high-up in golf that Miles has the best short game he's ever seen ... not the best short game he's ever seen from a junior ... the best he's ever seen, period.
