A girl on TikToķ said the realest thing .. “take care of yourself so you don’t turn into a hater.” And it’s true. A lot of women don’t realize the shade they throw is really unhealed envy. You’re not upset with her… you’re upset because you want to be doing what she’s doing, but you haven’t had the energy, discipline, or mindset to start yet. And that’s okay. Just be real with yourself. Seeing another woman glow up shouldn’t make you bitter !!!! it should push you. This is your sign to pour into YOU. Start small. Move your body. Clean your face. Put that wig on or get that silk press. Dress like you love yourself even on the hard days. There’s no reason to be jealous of “that girl” when you can become her too 💅

bitch i was depressed for months, nobody noticed. i still showed up for people even when i didn’t know how to show up for myself. that’s why i don’t buy the whole “i was going through something” excuse for treating people badly. we’re all going through something.
