We’re still reliving the magic of our opening night, especially seeing the space filled with people finding community in stories.
If you have not made it to the book bar yet, consider this your invitation. We are open on weekends.

‘It calls for truth when it is costly, …, and courage where silence has become habit. …. Corruption does not endure because of a few powerful actors; it endures because ordinary people make peace with it…” - Andrew Rugasira 🔥 🔥 🔥
I’ve put up more than half of my library collected from when I was 16 to create a free-access book library in Nakasero (The Book Cellar).
The books can be read from the Cellar, it also serves great coffee, plus, a small collection of Vinyl records.
See you guys 😊
Even if you were a 'gigantic walking problem',
I wouldn't bat a lash to embrace you in my life.
You would be my beautiful problem.
Ours is a purple love affair, with purple hearts, adorned with purple violets🪻.

It is true, what they say.
Unless you are adding value,
they won't need you in their life.
Dear bestie, I need you to know this...

This is so well written.
“This isn’t an academic work or a legal brief. It is a book of stories—stories about real people, their struggles to make their way in a world awash with law, and the toll on their lives and families.”
—Neil Gorsuch, Justice of the US Supreme Court
We once vowed to be champions,
To conquer, roam, and rise together
But now we stand still, unsure when the next conversation will begin
Still…
Let’s pick up where we left off
Let’s start a new chapter
For with you, my bitter‑sweet friend,
I know we can make it through anything
To My Bitter‑Sweet Friend
We may not talk every day,
We may go weeks, or even months, without seeing each other.
Sometimes when we finally call, we end up quarrelling over nothing,
All because of stories whispered by strangers.

You even held your kwanjula without telling me,
But it’s fine.
Because I know you’ll eventually come back saying,
“I missed you, can’t you see?” 😂😭
