@Emma506131772 One thing I like about the TLM is its regularity and consistency. A Low Mass is the same everyday no matter where you may be in the world. But with NO, you never know what novelty may pop up at any given time or place.
@EricRSammons@holysmoke I am a registered parishioner at a TLM parish. I have nothing really against the NO, except every time I attend an NO Mass, I end up saying to myself, so that's what we're doing nowadays.
@Cernovich Let me guess. Picker and others will say, don't you want to have a conversation? I taught in higher ed for 40 years. Conversations don't happen. A college helicopters in some speaker, the speaker delivers outrageous comment, then helicopters out. Never any conversation.
@japan_nobunaga For the first year after I bought my first house in 1990, whenever I needed to fix something, I went to the local Ace hardware at its opening, when local handyman were picking up tools etc for the day's job. I learned so much from those guys.
@peterboghossian I agree with you, BUT why didn't Fox pull out a cartoon of Muhammad as he threatened? He pulled out a caricature of a member of Parliament. Seems like he is proving his opponents' point, that the Muslim Street will punish you if you disrespect PBUH
@Huggins2687 Please explain why this trauma is so much worse than the trauma experienced by other people doing Covid. Just one small example. My wife was in neurological ICU for 8 days after a stroke and I was not able to visit her.
@WasAcop I don't get it. He announced that he was going to show a cartoon of Muhammad. But then he showed a caricature of MEP Jacob Rees-Mogg. Doesn't that prove that Fox was cowed by Muhammadism?
@mamboitaliano__ I REALLY, REALLY DOUBT that this photo was taken in the Vatican Museums. Certainly not in the Sistine Chapel. That is NOT the floor pattern of the Sistine Chapel. Gemini AI identifies the location in the Galleria Giorgio Franchetti in Venice, Italy.
@Catholicizm1 Parable occurs in the Gospel of Luke, in which long-term interests of the church are present. Jesus states, if even unbelievers are quick and wise in matters of money, believers should be even more so. Otherwise the church will not survive long-term.
