Last week, the Ocean Viking rescued 273 people, including children, in three operations in the Central Mediterranean Sea. Many suffered from exhaustion and seasickness and received care from @IFRC & @SOSMedIntl teams.

This operation is part of the continued efforts from
@SOSMedIntl & @IFRC to address the ongoing humanitarian crisis in the Mediterranean, where countless people face life-threatening conditions while trying to reach a place of safety.

The IFRC network, operating in 191 countries, are committed to addressing the humanitarian needs of migrants and people on the move, wherever they are, and at any stage of their journey.
