@yeghig Lars road is the shortest and cheapest to reach Russia (via Georgia), but it is a mountain road and often closes during the winter due to snow. The other way to reach Russia is through Poti by sea, which is longer and more expensive. And there is no railroad to Russia or to Iran.

@Doranimated Bright example of manipulated conclusion provided by an ‘expert’. If that’s the criteria Azerbaijan is closer ally of Iran. In 2019 Azerbaijan’s import from Iran was $450 mln while Armenia’s $324 mln. Based on the same import numbers both countries are closest allies to Russia.
