On a beautiful Sunday in February, where else would you rather be than with people in a place for people! Come out to the Rally to Save Car-Free Larimer and help us show the power of people over vehicles!
DenverUrbanism will be there interviewing folks—make your voice heard!
🚨 Tomorrow is the last day to fill out the City of Denver's survey and tell them you want Larimer Street to be an open street! 🚨
See this thread below for the link, comment guide, and where to comment on the survey ⤵️
⚠️ ACTION ALERT ⚠️
The City of Denver currently has a survey about the expanded Downtown Development Authority, which will include parts of Larimer St! There is a spot on the survey to leave a comment. Say you want Larimer Street to be an open street!

Thanks to the Downtown Denver Partnership for hearing Livable Larimer's ideas!
Did you know recent developments on Larimer Street have already focused on decentering cars?:
➡️ Larimer bridge
➡️ Larimer Square
➡️ 2900 block
It's time to connect the dots!
The time right now is ripe!
✨ The Downtown Denver Partnership is working on its next Downtown Area Plan
✨Mayor @MikeJohnstonCO announced plans to expand the Downtown Development Authority
✨ Denver is set to approve another cycle of General Obligation (GO) bonds in 2027
We think the kernel of the earlier plans are right: we should decenter cars on Larimer! However, the idea for a transitway is no longer feasible due to the changes made on Larimer. So we say, let's make it a pedestrian-friendly street instead, from Auraria to Downing!
